Structured thinking
for decisions that stay made
Unity Lab Blend works alongside leadership teams on the specific questions that matter: where to expand, what to measure, which functions to hold and which to place elsewhere.
Start a conversationWhat we deliver
Analysis that supports a decision, not one that replaces it
Every engagement produces a written output the client can act on, return to, or share with a board — not a set of slides that requires the consultant in the room to make sense of.
The work is bounded by time and scope. There is a fixed start, a deliverable, and a clear finish. Follow-on work happens only when it is genuinely needed.
How it helps
Four qualities that make the work useful
Written, not verbal
Conclusions appear in documents that can be read, amended, and filed — not only understood during a meeting.
Fixed scope
Each engagement has a defined timeframe and a specified output. There is no ambiguity about when it ends or what it produces.
Includes the difficult note
Each report includes a section on the conditions under which the recommended course of action should not be taken.
Prepared for external audiences
Where relevant, outputs are structured so they can be shared directly with boards, investors, or lenders without additional preparation.
How it works
The structure of a typical engagement
Week 1–2
Initial review
We review existing documentation and meet with relevant personnel to understand the question accurately before forming a view.
Week 2–4
Analysis
The central work: cost modelling, measurement design, risk assessment, or reporting structure — depending on the engagement type.
Final week
Draft review
A draft is shared for factual correction. The client can note where the analysis does not reflect circumstances we were not shown.
Delivery
Final document
A written report in agreed format, including a plain-language summary and a note of the conditions under which conclusions may not hold.

If there is a specific question to work through
A short note describing the situation is enough to start. We will confirm whether the question falls within one of our engagements and, if so, how the work would be structured.
